Awdhesh Kumar Pandey is a founder of AK textiles. He chose to revive and revitalize his ancestral work by his innovative approach and the inherited the skill of hand blocks printing and vegetable dyeing. It was established in 1971 and expanded in the area of export in 1994. Awdhesh Kumar Pandey is producing exclusive and skillfully handcrafted textile and home furnishings in cotton linen and silk using specialized block printing, dyeing, quilting and appliqué in their designs. The vision and mission of Awdhesh Pandey is to sustain the traditional skills by exploring the new opportunities.

The company of Awdhesh Kumar Pandey is working with 30 artisans and provide them work on fair trade basis.

The world famous Sanganeri print was brought to Jaipur more than 500 years ago from Gujarat. The infrastructure of Mr. Awdhesh includes a 4 table printing unit and more than 5000 block range. They have been working with different printing and dyeing techniques such as Dabu Printing, Syahi Beggar Printing, Indigo Sol Printing, Pigment Printing and Natural Dyeing.
